1. Remember when you created a goal section in your Rx Journal back in Session 2?  Go back and review your list, and as you do, indicate what negative voices or fears creep in for each goal.    Think about what you would say in response to satisfy those unfounded fears, and how you might move past them.

2. Look back over your life and notice all the times, situations or things that didn’t work out the way you would have wanted.  Notice the areas in which you struggled and then associate a negative feeling to your overall experience – fear, sadness, anger, rage, frustration, hopelessness, upset, or resignation.  Now, think of the times where things seemed to come easily for you- when you associated a positive feeling to your overall experience – ease, excitement, fun, joy, love, peace, or exuberance.  These separate memories and experiences all demonstrate The Universal Law of Attraction.  Whatever you think about- and the resulting emotions behind those thoughts – are what you find flowing into your life.                     

3. Notice the times from your past where the correlation between what you were thinking and feeling directly impacted what you were getting. Now, look at your life today and notice the correlation between what you are thinking and feeling, and what you are getting in life. 4. The following Rx-ercise shows you how to directly turn around Negative Core Beliefs. 

  • Go back to the list of affirmations that you wrote in your Rx Journal back in Session Three. 
  • Take out a clean sheet of paper and choose one of your most powerful affirmations.  Be sure to choose something the one that really stretches you. 
  • Write out the affirmation.  As you do so, listen to that Critical Voice inside and when you hear it, write down EXACTLY what it is saying on the back of the sheet of paper that you wrote your affirmations on.  For example, if your affirmation is, “I am attracting a loving, handsome, respectful spouse into my life,” you might hear, “Who would want you?”

  • As soon as you hear the voice, copy verbatim its nasty script and respond with a positive, loving statement to offset it.  Write something like, “I have had many loving relationships in my past.” 
  • Turn the page over to the “affirmation side” and continue writing your positive affirming statements, again, recording the negative, and then counter with a positive response. 
  • Continue this process until the Critical Voice has exhausted itself.  Keep doing this process until you have gone through all of your affirmations.  You will find that by directly addressing your fears, doubts, and self-criticism consistently you have effectively disempowered the Negative Core Beliefs inside you!
